I was crossing the street and there was a blind man in the crosswalk walking the same way. He was tapping his cane loudly which led me to believe that he used the sound from the tapping and the changes in sound to alert himself to obstacles in front of him. He was getting close to a parked car, but then stopped, tapped the cane several times, and then ran into the car. I wished I had known, through some sort of super power, that he was going to run into the car because I would have just grabbed his arm and sort of pulled him to the side, but I just assumed he could hear that there was an obstacle. By the time he ran into the car I was ahead of him and I just heard the thud.
