sourish and sweet

that is a common description the kids use. Mostly they are talking about candy. I'm talking about sour dough. I have made it before with yeast in my starter, but this time I'm going to try it the old fashioned way. Have any of you done this? From what I've read and listened to, it's simple simple: equal parts flour of any sort and water, stir it up in a non-reactive container and let it be. Every day or so toss half of it and replace what you tossed with equal parts flour and water. This is phase one, I will keep you posted!
