out and about

I went to the zoo and flower garden today, and it was a bust, though I did get a nice long walk. But, there was a very big redeeming factor, actually 2. The first was that I passed 2 amazing buildings on the bus that I will be returning to get a better look in the near future; I think they are part of a university campus. Secondly, a big group of chatty 6th graders was on the bus as well! There were all going to the park in new downtown and I talked with a group of them. They were very entertaining, and it was fun to talk to a completely new group of kids not in the classroom!
