kimchi

A few things about Korean food

first, traditionally there was no differentiation in foods served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The soup restaurant is packed if ever I am awake and walking past it at 7 or 8 in the morning.
Second, Korea's most important food, and the one all foreigners recognize, is kimchi. (or gimchi) The variety I am most familiar with is napa cabbage fermented and spicy from red pepper. It's good, and very spicy.

Kimchi based Korean foods have been enjoyable for me, and tonight is kimchi jigae, or kimchi stew. I'm sure it's not 100% authentic, I added rice cake and sesame seeds, but it's spicy and good!

what do you feel about kimchi for breakfast?

it's not for me. I usually eat it at dinner time. In contrast, I do like to eat traditional western breakfast foods for dinner.
