Let's talk about how great my dad is:

I called my folks today, and I wanted to talk money. I love that I can lay out my situation for my dad, he can ask a few questions, and then suddenly there is a (simple and user friendly) financial plan that totally makes sense. He has mentioned to me that younger financial types have disregarded what he has to say, acting as though he doesn't understand the current financial climate, but darn it, he has the experience, he looks back, he looks ahead, and he knows what is up. He's got the wisdom.
