I think fall is here, the weather is much cooler this week, and at least half of my students this evening have colds, so I'm going to take some measures to 'take care of my healthy' this week. Also I'm making soup, sort of like soups of the world. This week I made the closest thing to Japanese miso I could with what I could get in my neighborhood, which was everything to make dashi and the Korean soy bean paste, which is very similar to miso paste. Next is a super simple clear soup with soy bean sprouts. I also have some chicken stock in the freezer for a curry soup with coconut milk. And I might also toss tortilla soup into the mix!
