spring is in the air

It's been getting warmer and warmer here over the past couple of weeks. I am loving it. Today I was at the dollar type store, and I found small little pots containing basil, lavender, tomatoes, and strawberries. I feel confident in the herbs growing, not so confident about the fruits, but I am excited none the less. I have a veranda with a lot of sun exposure so I'm going to give this a try. I'm just not sure when I should start my plants as I am unsure if these temperatures will hold. I think I'll give it a couple of weeks yet.
