I was just thinking about the future, and how in the future I would like to have a garden and some chickens. And maybe bees. And I would like to have heirloom plants. I don't exactly know what that means, but what I really want is to be able to save seeds from one year to the next from my own plants.
But for now: pectin. I can't find it, I asked my fellow American, and she has looked and looked with no luck, so I'm going to do it the old fashioned way: with apples. I'm also going to drop my grandmother a line and see if she has any advice.
