I am soooooooo thankful for the internet. It's a new invention that has changed the way we do so many things. I use it for telephone and to bring me all sorts of information I would be lacking otherwise now that I am so far from home. Knitting patterns, NBC nightly news, any recipe ever, shopping for books and yarn, it brings me everything I could need, and it's a marvel. It took almost 8 weeks for me to get it at my house, and that was a long 8 weeks. I went to 'Techno World' yesterday and bought the cable and power adapter so now the television, phone, and internet / computer all work at the same time.
