trashed

picking up trash in Korea is different than any other place I have been. You pay for it depending on how much of it you make. I buy 20 liter garbage bags, and each bag costs me .92. I fill my bag and then deposit it in my trash pick up area, which is a little cement slab with a blue awning across the street from my building. A trash collection cart comes in the night and picks up my garbage. They keep kitchen waste separate also. I have a little red bucket, maybe a gallon, and I put all my kitchen scarps into that. Once a month I will buy a sticker and put it on my bucket, and that signifies that I have paid the kitchen scrap collection fee for the month!
