Mom and I made it over to Spokane today to Paradise Fibers to check out fold flat spinning wheels. I tried the Ashford Joy, which I liked much more than I expected to, and the Kromski Sonata. The problem is that they have small bobbins. I have been spoiled by my Louet; those wheels just have big bobbins. I want the size of a traveler with the capacity of a work horse, and I don't know if I will be able to find that, though I could always buy a bulky flier. I wanted to talk to the guy more, but they were too busy. That is a really fun place and worth a visit, it's a no muss no fuss place, you wouldn't get any knitting help there, but you would see a lot of great yarns and fibers.
