I drove to Portland on Sunday night for a Lughnausa celebration and to stay with dear friends. I had a list of things that needed to get done, and I surprisingly got through the list. My last stop was Powel's books where I got two amazing things: The Food Lover's Companion, and Knitter's Almanac, the two things I went to find. Very exciting indeed.
I had a wonderful time in Portland and I love that it's only a two hour drive from where I am staying. It's almost like I'm jelous that Manzinita is so much closer to Portland than Boise is.
