I decided that I would use today to get the bento lunches started by making a batch of rice and trying the microwave after refrigeration method to restore the texture of the rice. I have often wondered how this works, so I decided to try it for the week to make up my own mind. I also tried the bread again, and it's looking even better than last time. I am also going to make up a few eggs in treasure bags. I think this will help my mornings to be easier. I always try to pack a lunch as it saves sooo much money and I enjoy doing it. I also try to make deliscious things so that when lunch rolls around I really enjoy what I've packed. I also feel like some mornings I am in a panick trying to get coffee done and breakfast made and lunch packed, which sometimes consists of me cooking an entire meal. As well as getting ready and I'm exhausted just thinking about it. So the idea is to have it all as ready as it can be in advance and I won't have to spend 30 minuets cooking the rice and another 10 cooling it. I also reconstituted some nature's burger, which is a dehydrated grain base which I make patties out of. I will just have to form them and cook them. I feel so awesome about this! And, also, new bento gear is coming in the mail! A sandwich case, and an onigiri case, and a smaller single tiered box for the days when I don't spend all day at school and don't need as much food. Ahh, so excited for them to come. I ordered from Ichiban Kan, which ships from within the US so the prices are similar to Diaso plus shipping.

Do you have the good fortune owning a rice cooker?
no, I have thought about it, though.
