I ate 2 rolls of film like they were candy
36 exposures, too. So I can't find my digital camera, and I was sort of bummed out about that for a few little bits, but then got over it when I decided to buck up and get excited about film. Which isn't hard because I am. So I took the first roll of the trip at the Denny's by the airport in Boise because my flight was canceled and I didn't want to sit in the airport. Then I took some in San Carlos, then one didn't catch, so that was a bust, but I loaded it up again and took that. Today was finally a free day for just me and I wanted to do my art stuff. I went to the art museum and a colonial house, set up the way it would have been. I had lunch, which wasn't terribly good, but then I had the coffee, which was finally wonderful. (It's been days of crap coffee and it was starting to take it's toll.) So then I went to the cathedral, which was Mexican and wonderful and ugly and touristy and local all at once. I sat in the peacefull dim-ness with a breeze blowing through and then went to the religious little store to be sure to stock up on my churchy goodness. Some where along the way I bought a roll of film. Then I found what I was really looking for-the art of the people-griffiti. I shot the rest of the roll I had and then the one I bought, and then went back for 2 more. I've got 1.5 left for another day. I'll have to scan some of them in to show you all when I get home. I was feeling good about my day, and I visited all my places,a nd then I found the writing on the wall, and then I realized my day was only made then.
