hello coffee, or what I made
in Mexico, and it only took 2 days! There was a delay, and a broken plane, and a cancelation, and then I got to Tucson and spent the night and the best part was all the crazy happened in the States, not in the usual suspect, Mexico. Here now, warm weather, and coffee. Let me explain: they sell green coffee beans at the supermarket. I love love love going to the supermarket here. So I did a little reading about the green coffee, and bought some of my own to try my hand at roasting in a pan on the stove. Heat the pan to mediem high, dump in the beans, and stir constantly until the desired colour is reached, not usually longer than 10 minuets. The beans will go from green to yellow then to brown. Cool in a collander to halt the roasting, and I'm going to grind in the morning and enjoy. If anybody wants to try, I'll bring you back some.
