bingsoo

bingsoo is fun to say. Bingsoo is delicious. I have been trying to find a definition, and I can't seem to come up with anything concrete. It's shaved ice, traditionally served with sweet red beans and little bits of rice cake and fruit jelly, which is sort of like little pieces of hard jell-o. I bought some tonight without the beans and with fruit. It also had sweetened condensed milk. I accidentally ordered it to go, and it was wrapped up in a special bag designed to keep it cold. I felt like I had to get home fast in order to enjoy it before it melted so I flagged down a cab and got home and my bingsoo was in good shape and it was so wonderful.
