bean taste test

today I cooked the pink beans, and am happy to report they are really good and will make a fine substitute for pinto beans. I bought them from an old woman on the street yesterday and they were fresh-as in I could bite them and they would break without a lot of resistance verses ones that had been sitting around for a long time and were very dry and unyielding. Now I can make beans anytime, where as before the canned ones were so time consuming to procure I didn't eat them as often as I wanted.
