paranoia

there was a storm yesterday and we were all encouraged to use umbrellas because the rain was radioactive doe to the Japanese nuclear reactor. This type of thing is sort of stressful for me and the kids were explaining that if we touched the water we would get cancer and die. So I asked if I should throw my umbrella away after today to get the radiation away from me. They asked me why I would do that, that would be silly! That's when I felt less worried about it, and realized if it was a terrible terrible emergency they would have cancelled school. At least that's what I would hope they would do. If I start to glow green, I will let you know/
