remove the chicken from the bag, if it's in one

I finally bought an oven, and it's awesome. Tonight is roast chicken with apple crisp. I am SO excited. I haven't roasted a chicken in a loooong time, and I needed to look up the time and temp. The best part is the very first instruction.

p.s. it's beautiful. My secret is squeeze the juice of a lemon over the veg, then rough chop it and toss it with the veg. Roast the chicken on top of the veg. So. Good.
