today I am trying to make English muffins. I didn't realize that they cooked on a griddle until I began looking for recipes a month or so ago. The dough is rising in the kitchen and I must admit that I don't have all the confidence in the world about this one. It's the yeast, it's different, it smells different, it looks different. There will be some sort of griddle cake at the end of this whole thing, but that's all I can promise.
