Hedgehogs are popular here. One of my favorite students, Andy, was telling me about the time he babysat his friend's hedgehog. He was explaining about the tail, and how he played with the hedgehog in his lap, and that the poop comes out under the tail and into his lap. He was explaining this to me as if I had no idea about how animals go to the bathroom! I really appreciate the children telling me stories, especially when they become so enamored with all the little details.
