old people, please say hello to my friends who have died

I went to see my friend Aaron play a show last night. He just made the switch from playing with a band to playing alone, and it was pretty great. We were laughing and joking about clapping for him. When he pounds a song out just before dinner, no one claps, but when we're all in a dark room and he's playing on a white grand piano, well, we were all so proud of him and we had to clap it out.
