another Sunday in Portland

I tried to get together with Idaho friends in Portland for lunch today, but no such luck, so I had lunch with my other Idaho friends, the ones I live with at the beach. We went to Uwajimaya, Powells, a McMenamins, and then back to the beach. The gas station was a mess, but the guys that pumped our gas were good spirited folks. They said you had to be for the closing shift on a Sunday. We had some good sin-a-long moments in the car. A lovely day, really.
