re-visiting Japan

B & B did their dirty work, and because of it I am going to apply to the JET program. Dirty tricksters they are! I can't download the application just yet, but I did a mental inventory of all the documents and recommendations they require, and I got excited thinking about it. I talked to my dad about it yesterday, and he was funny, and not at all surprised. A few nights ago I had dinner with some friends, and one asked why Japan, why not another place. I started telling her about how the program seems well run, and so much is already handled, like housing and transportation to and from Japan, and then I realized that I just really like it there, and I want to go there; Japan. And if I didn't get accepted, or if I change my mind, I like it there, I find it interesting, and I will most likely return for another visit. And besides, it's a job. You get paid to go to work. There is a lot to be said for a job these days.
