I am going to brew some hard apple cider this summer. It takes about a month from start to finish, and after that you can age it, and I think it sounds like a really fun idea. I know cost isn't the reason, it's making something, but it really isn't that expensive to do, which is always good. I've wanted to do it for about a year, now, and I already have some of the supplies. Also, wouldn't it be fun to have for my birthday? I think so! It's like canning food, sort of. I love the idea of making something and preserving it. I get a huge feeling of satisfaction out of that sort of thing. It feel powerful.
