this is sad

another sad animal story, I'm afraid. One of the bunnies had her litter, but none of them made it. One of the kids rushed in this morning and was pretty distressed telling me that they weren't in the nest box and that they were on the bottom of the cage and they weren't moving and that they were dead. Fiona was convinced that they would come back to life, like Jesus on Easter. So we had a sad morning, ate pancakes, put on frilly dresses, and went to play.
